First Lady on a visit to Généthon
On January 21st France´s First Lady Brigitte Macron came to see the laboratories of CureCN partner Généthon to get an overview of the engagement in developing innovative biotherapies. She visited the DNA Bank, the largest in Europe for rare genetic diseases, and next to Laurence Tiennot-Herment, the president of the association, met the teams of Ana Buj Bello and Federico Mingozzi whose work is at the origin of therapeutic trials under way for myotubular myopathy and Crigler-Najjar disease. Federico Mingozzi is actively involved as project coordinator in CureCN. The visit was summarized in a short clip available via the AFM-Téléthon website and Twitter.
